Parker Olfert, CSEP-CPT
Parker was born and raised is Saskatoon, SK and has been a competitive athlete almost his entire life. His most competitive sport was basketball where he played on a high level club team for his high school years in Saskatoon. He then moved to Winnipeg to play 2 years of college basketball in the MCAC achieving a 2nd place finish in his second year being the only team in MCAC History to unset the #1 seed in the first round of playoffs. He is now a competitive Olympic weightlifter on Peak Power's Weightlifting Team.
Parker moved to Calgary in 2014 to attend school at Mount Royal University in the Personal Trainer Program earning a Diploma and his CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer Certification. He is an NCCP Level 1 "trained" Olympic Weightlifting Coach. He also has 5+ years of basketball coaching experience with a high level club team in Saskatoon as well as a Jr. High boys basketball team here in Calgary.
Currently, Parker is enrolled at Mount Royal University to become an Athletic Therapist and get a degree in Health And Physical Education.
